The Untamed Breakfast

Ingredients 

40g of 5 grain porridge 

1 scoop of protein powder 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk 

(Optional) About 1/4 cup water if you like to cook it down more like me! 

150g fresh strawberries 

Pinch of salt 

1 banana, caramelised with cinnamon and sprinkle of coconut sugar 

15g @untamed_health Organic Milk Chocolate 

Method 

  1. Add oats, protein powder, 2/3 of the strawberries and a pinch of salt to a pot. 
  2. Pour in the almond milk and water, mix until combined and add half the strawberries. 
  3. Cook on low-medium heat for a good 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Patience and slow love makes it uberrrr creamy! I tend to get myself ready for the day during this time. 
  4. Pour into a bowl and top with caramelised banana, remaining strawberries and Untamed Health Organic Milk Chocolate. 

If omitting protein powder I typically add 1 tbsp of sweetener (eg coconut sugar, maple syrup, honey or stevia).
